Chase Elliott, 2020 NASCAR Cup Series champion and seven-time winner of the NMPA Most Popular Driver Award, embarks on his 10th full-time season at stock car racing’s top level with a mission of securing a second title. The 29-year-old will once again pilot the No. 9 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 led by veteran crew chief Alan Gustafson. NASCAR Cup Series champion crew chief Alan Gustafson is back for his 20th season with Hendrick Motorsports, pairing up with six-time most popular driver Chase Elliott on the No. 9 program for the 10th year. Over their first nine seasons together, the duo has amassed 19 points-paying victories, a premier series title and an All-Star Race victory. Gustafson is currently the third-winningest active crew chief in the Cup Series with 39 victories.
